PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Re: “Buy Black And Hoodie Weekend Of Protest”

The Black Community Information Center Inc. is co-sponsoring a national campaign seeking
justice for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (44th anniversary of assassination on April 4, 2012) and Trayvon Martin. In both cases, neither of their killers has been brought to justice.

In that regard, the “information center” is a catalyst behind launching a “Buy Black And Hoodie Brigade Weekend” to demand justice for both Dr. King and Trayvon Martin. The campaign would encompass Friday, April 4, 2012 through Sunday April 8, 2012 with a “Buy Black” campaign during the entire weekend and a “Wear Your Hoodie Day” on Saturday April 7, 2012 . Both actions would be a form of protest and demand for justice in both cases.

The entire Afrikan/Black community is urged to participate to show our support in seeking justice for Dr. King and Trayvon Matin.

Sadiki Kambon, Director
The Black Community Information Center Inc.
