Mission
The Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television, the fostering of creative leadership in the television industry, and the encouragement of excellence in artistic, educational, cultural and technical progress.
NATAS
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) was formed in 1957. The Academy now serves all the television markets in the United States through its 20 chapters.
The Boston/New England Chapter was established in May, 1977.
The Chapter represents all the broadcast markets in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and the majority of Connecticut except for Fairfield County.
ATAS
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) founded 1946 in Los Angeles co-owns the EMMY® Awards with NATAS. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) is the premier and most recognized non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of excellence in television.
